Magnolias and More

Folks, a summer to remember:  We’ve had sun, we’ve had rain, we’ve had long days — we’ve had ideal growing conditions.  You know this because the green vegetative growth keeps raging:   grass needs mowing, gardens need weeding, trees are pushing up and the hay keeps coming.  A full summer season,  strawberries, blackberries and now raspberries, with plums, pears, apples all on the way– it’s a good summer.

Announcement:  the truck came in and had Magnolias on it!  Dragonfly Gardens, as of today, has thirteen zone 4-8 Magnolias —  six Merrill whites, three Royal Star whites, two Royal Star white clumps, and two Magnolia Anns, which are pink and ready to flower!

Years and years of requests and we finally have magnolias.  Those of you who have asked about magnolias, this is it.  They won’t last.  Put the mouse down and come to Dragonfly at once.  We will not take requests over the phone or in any other manner than direct sale.  Come one, come all,  just hurry!

Also on the truck:  Compact Burning Bush, Annabelle hydrangea, Rhododendron, Weigela Rainbow Sensation, Lotty’s Love Rose, and Butterfly Flower (orange asclepias tuberosa)

So, if a great summer season has you pondering what else could go right for your yard, Dragonfly is here for you.  What a beautiful reason for the season.
